Less than a week ago, President Joe Biden contracted covid-19. His doctor said on Tuesday that he had tested negative for the disease, but that was not enough for those who insisted he was dead.
Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, wrote a letter on Tuesday saying the president no longer has the coronavirus.
“The President’s symptoms have resolved,” the doctor said in the letter. “During the course of the infection, he never exhibited fever and his vital signs remained normal, including pulse oximetry. His lungs remained clear.
Shortly after the letter was made public, Biden could be seen climbing the stairs of Air Force One and telling reporters he felt fine.

Right-wing influencer Laura Loomer has spent the past 24 hours promoting Biden’s death from covid-19. Another X account, called Global Press Corp, claimed the president was receiving hospice care on Sunday, but as of Tuesday, that account had been deleted.
Claims about Biden’s death intensified shortly after he posted a letter on Conspiracy theorists on social media insist that Biden is a victim of the coup and that the signature on the letter is not his. It didn’t help that Biden called his now-former campaign office on Monday to congratulate Harris, angering conspiracy theorists who insisted the call was fake.
Biden is scheduled to address the nation on Wednesday, where he will once again flex his muscles. His speech will explain his decision to stop running for re-election and what he plans to do for the remainder of his term.
