Deadpool and Wolverine Want to shake off our superhero fatigue with an R-rated trilogy that’s nastier and more violent than anything Disney has dared to produce. But Marvel’s The Merc with the Mouth doesn’t stop there. He also wants to reach the top Dune: Part 2 — at least when it comes to obscene popcorn buckets.

Not to be outdone, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige promised to beat the competition in NSFW competition at CinemaCon 2024.
According to The Pop Verse, Feige said: “We asked Deadpool to design a popcorn bucket for him. Deadpool and Wolverine,” adding, “There are movies that inadvertently create vulgar and obscene popcorn buckets, and then there are popcorn buckets designed by Deadpool.

Deadpool and Wolverine Star Ryan Reynolds’ Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts shared a video teasing the movie’s popcorn bucket, with the caption:

The themes in the video come from 2001: A Space Odyssey used for disclosure (this may not be a bold choice because Barbie paid homage to its trailer back in 2022). Meanwhile, Deadpool’s gloved hands caress the bucket affectionately, popcorn spilling into his open mouth and butter rolling suggestively down his face.
Deadpool has never been a character or series known for its subtlety. But hammering sex toy jokes? Dune: Part 2 Buck Home makes this superhero themed item a winner?
