Not only did Donald Trump break down while speaking to black reporters, but his racist attack on Vice President Harris resulted in $23 million being raised by Democrats.
Democratic pollster and strategist Matt McDermott posted: “One benefit of Trump’s racist tirade: grassroots donor reaction. So far, $23,961,076 has been raised through ActBlue today, which is the largest fundraising in the past week. Donations began to surge immediately after Trump’s interview with NABJ.
For those of you who don’t know, Donald Trump claimed that Kamala Harris isn’t really black. Trump attacked three black female reporters interviewing him and spent 34 minutes breaking down.
Trump is the best fundraiser and brings out the voting tools that the Democrats have. Donald Trump didn’t redefine an election that was slipping away from him, he dug the hole deeper.
Trump will continue these racist attacks because that’s all he has. Donald Trump has no policies to implement and no vision for the future.
All the former president has is hate, but the more hate he spreads, the more dedicated Democrats are to defeating him. This didn’t work out the way Trump expected. This is no longer 2008 or 2016, and while the smear tactics Trump is using are effective against his own supporters, they don’t seem to be moving the country as a whole.
