Denver, Colorado, has developed guidelines for other cities on how to become havens for illegal border crossers.
Earlier this spring, Denver’s Democratic mayor actually cut funding for police and fire departments in order to maintain the illegal transportation of illegal immigrants. This comes after the city cut other services for taxpayers.
Does this new guidance mean red state governors should start sending more people to Denver?
Breitbart News reported:
Denver offers how-to guide for turning city into taxpayer-funded immigrant sanctuary
Democratic-led Denver, Colorado, is providing guidance to help other cities become immigrant sanctuaries at the expense of taxpayers.
The guide is titled “A Handbook for Newcomers: A Guide to Welcoming Newcomers into Cities,” and its authors say they are “delighted” to be able to provide guidance on how to plan and implement sanctuary cities.
The tour guide sighed:
We are delighted that you are interested in creating a welcoming environment for immigrants in your city. As part of Denver’s welcoming approach, we use the term “newcomer” to refer to immigrants, recognizing that they are new to our city, and adopting more inclusive language. This Handbook is a two-part guide that provides advice and strategies to help newcomers successfully integrate into your city.
The guidance is credited to “Mayor Mike Johnston’s office” and several of his immigration agencies.
With fewer police officers targeting illegals, Denver now plans to use drones as first responders in some situations instead of on-site police. You can’t make this up.
The Denver Police Department will soon be using drones as first responders after cutting millions of dollars from its police budget to aid immigrants.

Why Denver’s tax-paying residents put up with this is a complete mystery.
