British Prime Minister Sunak unexpectedly announced on Wednesday afternoon that a general election will be held in July.
The news will dismay and confuse some in the Conservative Party, many of whom point out that he won’t have to call an election within the next six months.
Although the Conservatives currently hold an 80-seat majority, most election experts predict a near-annihilation across the country as voters punish Sunak and his party for failing to deliver on their promises.

The party was elected in 2019 under Boris Johnson on a semi-populist platform but has continued to betray voters by pushing for a harsh lockdown regime, high taxes, record levels of immigration and embracing a “wokeness” Ideology.
In short, the Conservatives deserve to lose.
However, the far-left Labor Party and its leader Keir Starmer are waiting in the wings and will positive hug Wokeness, open borders, grand government agendas. Incoming foreign secretary David Lamy compared Donald Trump to Nazi Germany and the Ku Klux Klan.
Let me be clear: the woke left attacks our history, pulls down statues, indoctrinates our children with gender ideology, infiltrates our institutions, takes the knee for BLM, and when we dare question it, Keir Starmer says conservative The party is waging a kind of culture war.

If Labor wins with a comfortable majority, as is generally expected, the UK will face another five years of left-wing progressive government from which the country will likely never recover.
However, some right-wing thinkers, notably Brexit leader Nigel Farage, believe the death of the Conservative Party may well be a good thing for conservatism.
The theory goes that given that the Conservative Party does not actually Conservativeonly their complete destruction can pave the way for the emergence of a truly right-wing patriotic party.

True conservatives are facing a Catch-22. They can either punish the Tories by withdrawing from the election and letting Labor riot, or they can vote Tory again, knowing full well that the Tories will be betrayed once they are in power.
Sadly, the Conservatives of Margaret Thatcher and Winston Churchill are ancient history. Now it has to either become a true conservative or face inevitable demise.
