It’s fair to say that Devolver Digital’s themed events are often unique. The publisher’s presence at the 2024 Summer Game Festival is no exception. Like last year, Devolver is focusing on just a handful of truly interesting indie games, from a fighting game about an interdimensional disaster to a game that somehow makes lamb worship Even stranger. Heavenly magic is the first release from Deepnight Games, a new one-man studio led by Sébastien Benard, who previously worked on dead cells. The game puts players in the role of a rebellious gangster fighting in the underworld and combines pixel art visuals with some fast-paced action. In keeping with its retro aesthetic, it’s scheduled for release in 202X.

It’s a first-person shooter where you can also kick a lot of stuff, and obviously collect sneakers. It comes from the studio behind Free Lives Broadforth and cricket through the agesso you can expect it to be both very silly and very violent when it launches this summer.

smash house Sounds like a solid concept for a strategy game that challenges players to create a reality TV show circa 1999. Dark secrets. It is developed by Nerial, the studio behind the excellent titles. rule series.
expanded to lamb worship and Talos Principle 2
In addition to its upcoming games, Devolver also showed off some new content for two of its biggest games. First, lamb worshipthe surprisingly charming cult simulator, is getting its evil alliance Expanded on August 12th. The free update includes some new missions, gear, and items, but more importantly, it adds a co-op mode so you can experience the crazy gameplay with friends.
Meanwhile, on June 14, Brain Puzzle Talos Principle 2 getting it road to paradise expansion. It introduces a series of new challenges spread across three chapters – Orpheus Ascension, Isle of Bliss, and Into the Abyss – each with its own look and storyline.
