Disney Channel star Skye Jackson has been arrested for reporting on a “domestic incident” at a US theme park.
The 22-year-old actress is best known for playing Zuri Ross on the sitcom Jessie, which aired from 2011 to 2015.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed she was arrested for “spousal battery” on Friday afternoon at Universal Studios Hollywood.
CNN has reached out to Skye Jackson’s representatives for comment.
A spokesman for the Sheriff’s Department said Miss Jackson was taken to a police station in West Hollywood for a booking.
Police said she was involved in a “domestic incident” and was the “primary aggressor”.
“The investigation is ongoing and will be filed in Van Nuys Superior Court,” they added.
Skai Jackson was cast as Zuri at the age of nine and later reprized the role for the first three seasons of the spin-off series Bunk’d.
The New York-born actress also stars in Marvel Rising and the 2023 films Sheroes and The Man In The White Van.
