Noah Lyles won the 100-meter dash at the Paris Olympics for his first Olympic gold medal.
Responding to Lyles’s comments about NBA champions not being world champions, Hill insisted in an interview with Up & Adams that he could beat Lyles in the sprint.
“Noah Lyles couldn’t say anything after what just happened,” Hill said. “Then he wanted to come out and pretend he was sick. I think it was horseradish. For him to do that and say things like, like, we’re not world champions in this sport, let’s talk about what you know , that is track and field.
Adams asked Hill if he would like to compete against Lyles.

“I’m going to beat Noah Lyles…I’m not going to beat him by a lot, but I’m going to beat Noah Lyles. When I beat him, I’m going to put on a COVID mask and let him know I mean it. .
Hill later added two more posts.
“I love the 2028 race I’m running in,” he wrote on the X, along with a photo of himself in a track suit.
Lyles, who won a bronze medal in the 200m while battling COVID-19, did not appear to respond to Hill’s challenge.

Hill ran a 10.19 in the 100 meters in high school. Lyles’ Olympic time of 100 meters was 9.79.
