At least 25 House Democrats are preparing to call on President Joe Biden to end his reelection bid over his poor performance in a debate with former President Donald Trump.
The news comes from a Reuters report overnight.
During last week’s debate, the president often looked confused, evaded words, twisted facts, and lost his train of thought with his “mouth wide open.”
This is in stark contrast to his rivals, who are often seen putting effort and energy into taking advantage of split-screen settings.
Political Insider wrote on Tuesday that some Democrats and media outlets have begun publicly calling on Biden to withdraw from the campaign.
Former Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan spoke out on social media, while Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) became the first sitting congressman to make the call.
However, the dam has now burst, according to Reuters.

Democrats’ revolt
Reuters is now reporting that dozens of House Democrats are preparing to call on President Biden to end his re-election bid.
However, they seemed to give him one more chance before fully committing.
“Twenty-five House Democrats are prepared to call on Biden to step down if he appears unstable in the coming days,” they wrote.
As one might expect, these members care little about the well-being of the man, or even the well-being of the country he leads. What excites them is their own re-election campaign.
Moderate House Democrats in closely contested districts say they have been “questioned in their own districts this week” after Biden wet the bed on live television, according to an inside source.
“It looks like the dam has burst,” an aide told Reuters.
How bad is the break? Even former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dropped a bombshell on Tuesday, saying any questions about whether Biden’s health (or Trump’s) were a sign of “conditions” were legitimate.
“I think it’s a legitimate question, ‘Is this an interlude or is it a condition?’ So when people ask that question, it’s legitimate for both candidates,” Pelosi said.

Biden campaign in danger

It appears a coup is being planned behind the scenes at the Democratic National Committee. President Biden’s cognitive struggles have been common and well documented for some time.
The public was well aware of his problems in his eighties, both from a mental and physical perspective. But his team is demanding a debate with Trump in late June? More than four months until the election? Will they make this public in hopes of giving him enough time to find his successor?
No one was shocked by what happened in the first presidential debate. Any Democrats who claim to be shocked are not being honest.
They used fake Oval Office equipment to allow for a teleprompter large enough for Biden to complete his speech. They use cheat sheets to guide every move. They even gave him shorter steps to navigate Air Force One so he wouldn’t trip.
think about it. These 25 Democrats or others who may be whispering quietly in the background see President Biden putting America at risk with his apparent weakness. But it wasn’t until he started jeopardizing their re-election chances that they were truly ready to take action.
