Elon Musk has called for electronic voting machines to be scrapped, warning they are at high risk of being hacked and manipulated by bad actors.
Musk posted on the X platform in response to a post from independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who himself was weighing in on recent irregularities during Puerto Rico’s primary election.
Kennedy wrote:
Puerto Rico’s primary election just saw hundreds of voting irregularities related to electronic voting machines, according to the Associated Press. Fortunately, there was a paper trail, so the problem was discovered and the vote corrected. What happens in jurisdictions where there is no paper trail? American citizens need to know that every one of their votes has been counted and that their election cannot be hacked. We need a return to paper ballots to avoid electronic interference in elections. My administration will require paper ballots and we will guarantee honest and fair elections.
Musk said he agreed.
“We should eliminate electronic voting machines,” he wrote. βThe risk of being hacked by humans or artificial intelligence, while small, is still too high.β

As The Gateway Pundit has long reported, electronic voting machines are one of many methods used by Democrats and their electoral allies to steal elections. The most notable example was in 2020, when machines played a significant role in swinging the election toward Joe Biden.
This is not the first time Musk, who has nearly 188 million followers, has warned of risks to the U.S. electoral system. Last month, he retweeted a video urging whistleblowers to come forward to report violations ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
If you are an election worker, organizer or concerned citizen who has witnessed firsthand the corruption in our elections, we want to hear your story.

In January, Musk also called for mandatory photo ID to increase election security. He called opposition to the proposal “crazy.”
