Energetic small-donor Democrats raise $27.5M in 5 hours for Kamala Harris

Act Blue reports that Democratic small-dollar donors flocked to their site to donate $27.5 million to Vice President Kamala Harris.

NEW: Small-dollar donors raised more than $27.5 million through ActBlue in the first five hours of Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign. Grassroots supporters are energized and excited about supporting her as the Democratic nominee.

Harris also has a list of endorsements as long as your arm, including everyone from President Joe Biden to Emily.

The Kamala Harris train is about to roll out of the station, and any wealthy Democratic donor or elite who thinks they can push Harris away and force an open primary is bound to be disappointed.

Small-donor Democrats are energized. A campaign that began as a rematch in 2020 has turned into a contest with a new face in Donald Trump.

Trump has shown fear of Harris and is prepared to skip the second presidential debate unless it is held on Fox News. A decision by Joe Biden has sent Republicans into disarray as Democrats have rallied behind their choice to lead their party into November against an antiquated and tired Big Three led by Donald Trump.
