The Princess of Wales is currently battling cancer but still made her first public appearance in months to take part in today’s parade. A royal expert in attendance shared details of Middleton’s arrival and how attending the ceremony made her the “ultimate soldier.”

Middleton’s appearance at Trooping the Color was the royal’s first event since revealing she had cancer in March. It was her first public appearance since Christmas.
