Competitor National Recruiting Director Adam Gorney Recruiting analysts nationwide Adam Friedman, Jason Sukomel Orangebloods.com and Jade May UGASports.com addresses three topics and determines whether they believe each statement is fact or fiction.
1. Texas is now the favorite to land Dakorien Moore after he decommitted from LSU.
RELATED: Daklian Moore’s Contender Rankings
Gorney’s take: Facts. I don’t want to say it’s a guarantee, especially since Ohio State has done such a good job at wide receiver that Oregon can make a compelling case while he’s there, but Texas definitely looks to be the best right now of. A source with knowledge of the situation tells me the Longhorns are very strong and have been that way for a while now as the Duncanville, Texas standout looks to be less than three hours away from home.
Sucomel’s take: Facts. Even before Dariklian Moore’s recruitment officially began, some thought Texas would be his final destination. In early spring, Moore’s friends were very open about their opinions and it was only a matter of time before Moore would end up transferring to Texas. The recent visit to Ohio State and the upcoming official visit could change things, but I think it’s safe to list Texas as the leader right now.

2. Isaiah Gibson will visit Georgia this weekend. USC should be very concerned about this.
Gorney’s take: Facts. USC did a great job getting a commitment from Isaiah Gibson during his March visit, but Georgia did something smart: They didn’t pressure these natives, forcing They flip immediately.coach Kirby Smart His staff shows love, continues to give them attention, and keeps bringing them to campus to see everything the Bulldogs have to offer. Recruiting hasn’t been winning in March, and with signing day still a long way away, Georgia looks like it could flip Gibson and others.
May’s take: Facts. Gibson is heading to Athens for the annual scavenger hunt, one of Georgia’s most popular recruiting weekends of the year. He has said in recent weeks that Georgia is as stressful as ever. Additionally, the Bulldogs will host Gibson for an official visit in two weeks. Georgia bringing him back to school twice in such a short period of time should be a major concern for the Trojans.

3. It’s now a two-team race for David Sanders Jr. between Ohio State and Clemson.
Gorney’s take: Facts. This feels like a two-team game until Georgia or some other team can jump back in there. The five-star offensive tackle from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day recently had a great visit to Ohio State, so the Buckeyes are definitely there, but Clemson It’s closer to home, his family likes the recruiting connections there, and it’s a school he’s been considering for so long. Visits are important and the trip back to Athens this weekend cannot be ignored, but Ohio State and Clemson are No. 1 and then everything else is playing catch-up.
Friedman’s point of view: Fiction. It’s too early to call this a two-team rivalry for David Saunders. The five-star offensive tackle will return to Georgia this weekend, and the Bulldogs have gotten along well with Sanders and his family during their time on campus. Ohio State has pushed Sanders hard over the past two months and Clemson is his childhood favorite, but at the end of the day, the official visit will tell the true story of his recruitment. Tennessee is the leading contender for Sanders, and the Vols worked well with him when he visited on back-to-back weekends last month. Sanders will take an official visit to Clemson on May 31, followed by Georgia (June 7), Tennessee (June 14), Alabama (June 18) and Ohio State State (June 21).
