The FBI raided the Long Island home of a former aide to New York Governor Kathy Hochul earlier this week.
Federal agents searched Linda Sun’s $3.5 million, five-bedroom home in a gated community on Long Island’s North Shore.
“The New York FBI conducted court-authorized enforcement in Manhasset,” an FBI spokesperson told Fox News Digital. The agency did not provide details about why the home was targeted.

Fox News Digital has contacted Hochul’s office.
Neither Sun, 40, nor her husband Ho Chi Minh, 41, was accused of any wrongdoing and no one was arrested, the New York Post reported.
“While there are no formal charges and no wrongdoing, a judge has to approve this search warrant and it’s very intrusive to search someone’s house,” attorney and Fox News contributor Paul Mauro said. “Obviously, There has to be some indication of wrongdoing for a judge to approve the decision.”
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn obtained a search warrant for the raid. A spokesperson for the office declined to comment to Fox News Digital for this story.
Property records show the home owned by Sun and her husband was transferred to the trust in March. Sun is one of Hochul’s former deputy chiefs of staff and also served under former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

While working under Hochul, Sun focused on business development, Asian American affairs and diversity, equity and inclusion, according to her profile.
She resigned from the Executive Council after 15 months and took a job with the New York State Department of Labor in 2022.
A person familiar with the matter told The Washington Post that she left public service last year after being fired over “evidence of misconduct.” Sources said the alleged misconduct was turned over to law enforcement.
According to the “Washington Post” report, Sun’s husband runs a liquor store in Queens, and there is at least one bottle of wine near the door with a retail price of $700.
