Latin music artist Feid hit with lawsuit over alleged infringement of his 2022 hit song Fixo 100 and two other songs.
Sebastian GlaucusGrammy-nominated guitar loop composer claims samples of his music were used in Feder’s track Fixo 100, X20X and chimbiyars from so many There was no credit or compensation, although he was initially told by the song’s producer that he would be credited and paid.
In a complaint filed on Monday (June 10) in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, Glaucus said he was given “months of assurances” by producers that he would receive appropriate credits and compensation for the songs , but was ultimately considered for such a compensation clause, and he concluded that he had been “exploited by the creative team behind the three infringing songs.”

The complaint names the defendants as Salomon Villada Hoyos, also known as Feid; Universal Music Group, its record label universal music latin Release of the allegedly infringing track; Columbia label icon music; along with break the sky and Johnwho were both producers on three of Feid’s songs.

Graux alleges in the complaint that he met with the Icon Music team during a trip to Colombia in September 2021, which led him to meet Sky Rompiendo and Jowan, two Icon producers who were working with Feid at the time.

The lawsuit states that Glaucus “came to understand that the creative team and record label were not interested in providing him with the full credit and compensation he deserved.
