Five-star David Sanders Jr. made the most of the weekend before his death. The Rivals250 top-ranked offensive tackle took an unofficial visit to Ohio State last weekend and will take an official visit to Nebraska this weekend.
Sanders has yet to publicly acknowledge his interest in Nebraska, but as Adam Gorney reports, Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola has been pursuing the elite left tackle Prospects. The former five-star signal caller would really like to have an elite talent like Sanders to protect his blind spots.
Nebraska faced stiff competition from Sanders, and they came a little late. South Carolina has hosted him for an official visit, and he is also scheduled to visit Clemson (May 31), Georgia (June 7), Tennessee (June 14), Alabama ( June 18) and Ohio State (June 21) for official visits. He has made several unofficial visits to other major contenders, but this weekend will be Sanders’ first visit to Nebraska.
