Former Attorney General Bill Barr has announced that he will support Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election.
His stunning about-face comes just months after he said he would “jump off” a bridge if the former president and the current president ran again.
In an interview with Fox News host Neil Cavuto, Barr said he didn’t like having to choose between his former boss and President Joe Biden, but that at the end of the day, Trump’s policies were better for the United States.
“I’m very pleased with his policies. I think his policies are good policies,” Barr said of his time in the Trump administration. “My problem comes from his behavior, which I found very troubling after the election.”
Sounds like someone is finally growing up. Pro-American policies far outweigh erratic behavior. Guiding the country through difficult times is far more important than the harm done to personal feelings by malicious tweets.

Barr will support Trump and work for the benefit of the country
Barr went on to point out the obvious: The Biden administration is saddled with a “totalitarian temper.”
“They have embraced the progressive movement,” he said. “They are trying to suppress opposition and free speech.”
Barr clearly defined the Biden administration as “a greater threat to democracy” and noted that “in my opinion, it is composed of a brutal mob.”
Cavuto noted that Barr had previously made some negative remarks about Trump, in which he said claims of election fraud were false and accused his comments of inciting the riot at the Capitol on January 6.
The Fox host reminded Barr that he said Trump “should not be anywhere near the Oval Office.”
“I do not think so Biden It should be anywhere near the Oval Office, that’s a fact,” he countered.
A week ago, the former attorney general hinted that he would “support the Republicans.”
Barr added: “Trump may be playing Russian roulette, but the continuation of the Biden administration would be national suicide.”

Barr says he’d ‘jump off a bridge’
None of this is new information, as President Joe Biden has been a greater threat to democracy since he stepped into the Oval Office.
Yet somehow, Barr has dramatically changed his mind about the upcoming election.
During an NBC News investigation into former Trump cabinet members, Barr made it clear he would not support the former president’s return to the White House.
“I have made it clear that I strongly oppose Trump’s nomination and will not support Trump,” Barr said previously.
When asked what he would do if Trump wins the nomination and takes on Biden again in 2024, he used wordplay to inject a bit of humor.
“When I get to that bridge, I’m going to jump off it,” Barr quipped.
Instead, Barr seems to have just woken up. Trump is the presumptive nominee. It was time to choose better leaders, and he knew it.
Trump called Barr “slow and lethargic” and accused him of being more interested in “being accepted by the corrupt Washington media and elites than serving the American people.”
Barr has been really slow to recognize who poses a greater threat to this country.
