There are three new locations: a refinery called the Redline Rig, a vehicle arena called the Nitrodrome, and a beach area called the Brutal Beachhead. Along with them are the “Wasteland Warriors,” who are basically boss characters for the season with names like Mechanic and Command Skaar. Also: There are now two tanks patrolling the island, and players can hijack and capture them.
There appear to be two major updates for the game. One is a substance called nitro, which you can drink or use on your vehicles: it will make the player faster, stronger, and reload faster, while the car will drive faster and consume more energy. Less gas and the ability to hit with more power.
