Keenan Britt made his decision before his junior season.
Britt, the No. 15 outside linebacker in the Rivals250 class of 2026, is committed to south carolina Saturday. In late July, the Gamecocks hosted a visit from a four-star hybrid guard from Oxford (Ala.) High School in Alabama.

“The way they talked to me and my parents meant a lot to me and my family,” Britt told opponent A boost from the South Carolina staff. “It all depends on how me and my family feel. It doesn’t matter how far away the school is. I want it to feel like home. This is South Carolina.”
Late last month, the Gamecocks and Ducks both hosted visits from Rivals250 defenders.

“Coach Urschel just came over from Oregon State, and he’s been recruiting me hard. And of course, Coach Beamer,” Britt elaborated.
“I look at a lot of things and they have a good group. They’re young there and they have a good program in South Carolina.”
South Carolina extended an offer to the 6-foot-2, 230-pound hybrid guard earlier this summer.
“It meant a lot to me to get the invitation from South Carolina,” Britt said of the opportunity. “The coaching staff is great. They keep contacting me.
“South Carolina is a great school. They have a great atmosphere. Everything is great there,” he added. “South Carolina is unique.”
