Last night, as people gathered in Detroit for a BLEXIT event, at least one “white savior” tried to warn a black couple to “beware” of all the “white people making America great again” in town holding American flags.
Ironic thing…the couple was going to that event.
social media influencer @locdinwithzaza_ shared her experience walking to an event with her husband.
Lodinweizhaza begins, “So I was walking to a BLEXIT event in Darrell, right? We were crossing the street and a white woman came up behind us and she first asked us, ‘Oh, is it always crowded here? ” Because we were in Detroit…never been to Detroit before.
“But the first red flag was she assumed we were from here. I assumed that because, you know, we were ‘black.’
“Then she went on to tell us, ‘Oh, you know Trump is here, you better watch out. I’ve seen a lot of white MAGA people walking around with American flags. You know…you guys…be careful!
Lotinwizzaza Then turned to her husband and asked, “Hate crimes! How do you feel about hate crimes?”
He smiled and replied: “I’m angry. I feel threatened. I don’t know how to go on with my life.”
locdinwithzaza continued, “Little did she know we were on our way to the convention.”
