General Hospital soap opera actor Johnny Wactor, 37, was shot and killed during a robbery in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning.
Johnny Wactor reportedly stopped three thieves who were trying to steal a catalytic converter from his car. Walkett’s mother Scully told TMZ that her son did not try to fight the thieves because he initially thought his car was being towed, but they shot him anyway.
The three attackers fled the scene in a vehicle.
Johnny Walkerto was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Actor Johnny Wactor, known for nearly 200 episodes of “General Hospital,” has died, TMZ has learned.
Walker was shot and killed early Saturday morning in downtown Los Angeles, his mother Scully told TMZ. She said Johnny was with a co-worker and they saw three men messing with Johnny’s car. While authorities have not released his name, it matches the description of an incident in which three suspects allegedly attempted to steal a catalytic converter.
Scully said she was told Johnny didn’t try to resist or stop them… but the men shot him anyway before taking off. According to police, paramedics arrived on the scene just after 3 a.m. Pacific time. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police have not yet provided a description of the suspects … however, Johnny’s mother said she hopes to find them soon.
