The pair married in July 2002 after four years of dating and have two children together: 21-year-old son Lucas and 18-year-old daughter Leila.
“Our children have been and will continue to be our top priority, and we will always share our devotion and love for them.”
In 2019, Cameron revealed his kidney cancer diagnosed and subsequently made public his recovery.
The Hallmark host and actor also shared his health news online Internet talk show “Home & Family” At the time, he explained to his social media followers that he had an MRI for “some intestinal issues,” and doctors discovered a tumor on his right kidney.

The former All My Children star went on to say he was “very lucky” that doctors caught it early and he thanked everyone around him for their “love and support”.
After undergoing surgery, Matheson told ABC News, “the recurrence rate was very low.”
