Danny Doering (@dannydolin) is the Halford Mackinder Professor of Geography at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of St. Peter’s College. His work spans issues of housing, health, employment, education, wealth and poverty. His recent works include but are not limited to: Broken Nations: Inequality and the Geography of Failed States (Verso, 2023),Inequality and the 1% (Viso, 2014), Rule Britain: Brexit and the end of empire (Bite Back, 2019); and Finntopia: What we can learn from the happiest country in the world (Agenda, 2020), and numerous articles.
