Some conservatives are convinced that Barack Obama is “operating secretly behind the scenes” in the Biden administration.
Of course, in our day and age, when his illness is being kept secret from the entire national media and the president’s closest aides, proving whether this is true is nearly impossible.
But no matter what, Obama still has huge influence and popularity among the Democratic Party, so his ideas and words are important.
He reportedly doesn’t have a favorable opinion of Joe Biden.
Obama abandons Biden?
Democrats have been talking to Obama about Biden and the 2024 race, and at least according to CNN, the conversations haven’t been good.
More than a dozen members of Congress and insiders have been talking to Obama, who thinks it’s “Jofer.” The problem is, they don’t know what to do. They only know that everything is over, and the only thing they can do is watch how it dies.
Honestly, it’s shocking to see elected Democrats and a plethora of media figures actively calling for Democrats to step down, which is certainly unprecedented in my lifetime. Especially the current Democratic president.
And it’s not just backbenchers. Pelosi has been taking action. Hakeem Jeffries, the current Democratic minority leader in the House of Representatives, is a man of the hour.
Additionally, Obama was reportedly well aware of Hollywood actor George Clooney’s shocking call for Biden to withdraw but did nothing to dissuade him.
Incredibly, Clooney reportedly even called Obama ahead of time to give him a heads up.
The Biden team should know that if Obama has real concerns about Biden’s ability to win the election, they should listen. Obama ran two near-flawless campaigns and made it look easy.
Bunker Biden went into hiding during the campaign and let the media (and changing election rules) do his thing.
More Democrats flee sinking ship
This hasn’t happened since 1968 (or ’72).
Here’s the full list of all Democrats who have called on Biden to withdraw so far:
- Colorado Rep. Brittany Paterson
- Illinois Rep. Eric Sorensen
- California Rep. Scott Peters
- Connecticut Rep. Jim Himes
- Arizona Rep. Greg Stannon
- Hawaii Rep. Ed Case
- Illinois Rep. Brad Snyder
- Michigan Rep. Hillary Scholten
- Oregon Rep. Earl Blumenauer
- New York Rep. Pat Ryan
- New Jersey Rep. Mikie Sherill
- Washington Rep. Adam Smith
- Minnesota Rep. Angie Craig
- Illinois Rep. Mike Quigley
- Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton
- represent. Raul Grijalva, Arizona
- Texas Rep. Lloyd Doggett
- Vermont Senator Peter Welch
One thing is for sure: if – and I’m being generous here – if Biden is truly incapable of running, let alone withdrawing from the presidential race.
He needs to resign immediately.
If he is incapable of running, he is incapable of running a government. period.
