It’s been a minute since we last met Hit the monkey Now airing — Season 1 airs in late 2021 — but Animated Hulu Series, It has branched out from the original Marvel brand, this is not someone you have to do a lot to catch up with. There are two main characters; One is a monkey killera ghost of a human assassin who causes intense chaos wherever they go.
The second trailer for Season 1 introduces Alice (Cristin Milioti), the long-lost daughter of Bryce (Jason Sudeikis), the ghostly mentor-slash-partner of Killer Monkey (Fred Tatasciore). Bryce happens to be a ghost until, as the trailer shows, he goes on some underworld adventures to return to his physical form.
The official plot synopsis reads: “In New York, Monkey finds a way to escape a life of murder, while Bryce attempts to repair the damage done to the people he has wronged in his life. But what will it cost them to undo the past? Of course, there are plenty of bad guys too, after all we did mention high octane mayhem!
The cast also includes newcomer Leslie Jones, who plays Bryce’s former agent in Season 2, as well as returning voice actors Olivia Munn and Ally Maki. Hit the monkey Created and executive produced by Josh Gordon and Will Speck; Season 2 is produced by 20th Television Animation and animated by Floyd County Productions, which is why fans of the late great one shooter You’ll feel right at home watching it.
