At this point, almost everyone in America and around the world knows that the President of the United States is not up to his job.
He proved that over and over again last night.
Remember all the stuff the media and Democrats have said about how Biden is secretly an intellectual giant, privately crowning intellectuals? Yes. Of course, guys.
Look at this again and tell me— Only in secret meetings attended only by Democrats— Biden is the next Albert Einstein:
But the debate itself isn’t Joe Biden’s biggest problem. This is not his biggest threat. No, this is coming from within the Democratic House.
Hakeem Jeffries throws Joe Biden under the bus
Enter Hakeem Jeffries – currently House Minority Leader. He would also be in the top five if he weren’t the third most powerful Democrat behind Biden and Democratic Senate Majority Leader Schumer. So what he said should have weight.
And what he said was really bad for Biden.
AP congressional reporter Farnoush Amiri asked Jeffries if Biden “is the most effective messenger for the Democrats.” It can be understood as “if Biden continues to become the Democratic nominee.”
That’s when Jeffries completely threw President Biden under the bus:
“It is my understanding that President Biden is scheduled to speak in North Carolina at noon today. I look forward to hearing from President Biden. Before he spells out the way forward for his vision for America at this moment, I will speak with us I reserve comment on anything related to where we are now, other than to say I support this. And of course, as House Democrats, we’re going to do whatever it takes to win.
yes! He might as well have said “step down.” To me, it’s like an ultimatum to the president. You’ll notice that it’s Jeffries standing behind the “ticket,” not Joe Biden. He would then go on and on about something completely unrelated to try to get away from it.
Friends, these are truly amazing times.
What’s next for the Democratic Party?
The humble reporter was puzzled by the question. It can go one of several ways.
First, Biden stood his ground. It is my understanding that removing him from the ballot at this time would require his consent. Will he do this? He was a stubborn son and God loved him. I’d say the odds are 50-50.
Second, Biden agreed to step down. But who can take his place? The difference between Democrats and Republicans is that the former are smart and good at politics. Democrats know they can’t pit illiterate Kamala Harris against Trump’s cannon. She would be eaten alive, even worse than Mr. Magoo.
Conventional wisdom holds that Biden will be replaced by California Governor Gavin Newsom. It’s a strong showing from the Democratic Party at a time when people are complaining about the age of the candidates. Of course, there are five-alarm dumpster fires in California, so this isn’t a panacea.
Enter the magic bullet: Michelle Obama. I’ve been predicting this for a while. There could be no better move for the Democrats than to bring Michelle in at the last minute to save the party and revive the Obama era.
Option 3: Prank. Maybe Biden is withdrawing without entirely voluntarily. Only God knows what kind of conspiracy is going on behind the scenes now.
One thing is certain: Biden has a greater chance of leaving office than of staying.
After the debate, both CNN and MSDNC publicly called on Biden to step down. As a political scientist, I haven’t seen anything like this in decades.
