The problem is that Republicans need crimes committed by President Biden in order to prosecute him. We call it the James Comer Dilemma. Rep. Cuomo has been trying to impeach Joe Biden for years without committing a crime or being impeachable. House Oversight Committee Chairman Cuomo is making no progress.
Republicans are so worried about how Trump’s felony conviction will affect voters that they need to sue Biden to try to even the score.
The Republican Party’s election strategy in 2024 is the same as in 2016. They want to portray this election as the “lesser of two evils”.
The problem is that Donald Trump is a convicted felon and Joe Biden is not, and the Republican Party cannot erase that basic fact.
