Rep. Eric Burleson (R-MO) has said Biden suffers from dementia, but then claimed his campaign would use Mountain Dew to support him at the debate.
Burleson told Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo, “Anyone who’s older or has dementia, they can find some moments of clarity, right? They can find some moments of energy throughout the day. , I don’t think Trump’s team should underestimate what Joe Biden and his team are capable of, whether or not they’re going to back him up with something like Mountain Dew. Look at this year’s State of the Union, where he had a lot of energy for about an hour. .

If you’re keeping score at home, within a week, Republicans have gone from Biden being too old to sentence, to Biden being doped, to Biden being on Mountain Dew.
This is embarrassing.
Republicans are trying to come up with reasons why the president might circle Donald Trump during the debate.
Trump and Republicans tried these tactics in 2020 because they knew President Biden had no cognitive issues, and they also understood Trump was a terrible debater only when he could bully, attack moderators, ignore questions, and create opportunities. Only then can he do well.
