A group of House Republicans, led by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Los Angeles) and Rep. Brandon Williams (R-N.Y.), raised three American flags at Union Station in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night to replace the The flag was removed and burned earlier in the day as Hamas supporters protested against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress.

Hamas supporters attacked outnumbered U.S. Park Police (not Capitol Police) at Union Station, who attempted to arrest and protect the flag, but were unable to save everyone as they were forced to retreat.
