In recent years, Tinder has introduced a series of safety features aimed at improving the health and comfort of daters. From verification flags to guardrails to protect against scams and inappropriate messages, these tools are designed to protect Tinder users in a variety of ways.
Latest product: Tools to share key messages with friends and family before a date. The feature saves metrics about the date in the form of a shareable link, including a photo of the person and a link to their profile, as well as details about the date itself, such as time and location.
Tinder’s new Matchmaker feature lets friends and family recommend matches
“Discussing plans with friends and family is a time-honored dating ritual,” explains Tinder Chief Marketing Officer Melissa Hobley. “Share My Date simplifies this basic sharing of information so singles can jump straight to the exciting parts, from figuring out what to wear to preparing conversation topics.”
