hello. Do you want to set up your YouTube office? correct. Let’s talk about this. I’ve been through this journey and I have some tips to save you time and money, first of all, don’t feel like you need to buy everything at once. Instead, all you have to do is start small and work your way up. Trust me, it’s more sustainable this way. Let’s talk about all the cameras. I started with a smartphone and honestly it’s still my go-to for shooting on the go. I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max with plenty of storage space. It’s perfect for capturing those spontaneous moments. Nowadays, information is very important. I love these wireless lavalier microphones. I found it on Amazon for about $40. They are perfect for travel vlogs and interviews. Just clip one to yourself and the other to your guests, and you’re good to go. Speaking of audio, I really want to mention that there is always a need for backup. This is necessary, messages tend to fail. Even if you use these Bluetooth Lavale microphones, they may lose connection and all you end up with is nothing and zero audio. So another setup that I really like to use right now is recording raw video on my smartphone, which I can later use artificial intelligence to improve, like removing background noise. On top of that, I have another smartphone in hand as a backup recording device. I can simply use the recording feature, or if you want to upgrade, I recommend Zoom Recorder. It’s an investment, but I think it’s well worth it. For good audio lighting can have a huge impact. When I’m out and about, I use a mini LED video light, which is rechargeable, powerful, and only costs about $20. I have a Sony Zve one camera with a couple of VX lenses that is perfect for night shots or dark environments and my entire office setup, but if it’s out of your budget right now, don’t worry. I started using a Sony 8 6400 mirrorless camera. For many years, any EIGA lens has served me well for my audio needs at home, and I’ve used a Newman TLM 103 microphone for podcasting and live streaming of camera recordings. I just had a rote microphone attached to the camera. Simple and effective. Nowadays, lighting in the home is more sophisticated. I use the Elgato keylight on my desk for Zoom calls and live broadcasts. They are super adjustable and help reduce eye strain during legal recording. One more interesting tip. Try some LED lights to add personality to your background. Go for some affordable options that can really transform your space. Finally, if you want to up your scripting game, consider using a teleprompter. I’ve recently started using Garos Teleprompter and it’s been a game changer. It’s easy to set up and use even if you’re a newbie. But remember, all of this gear is just a tool to help you create. The most important thing is to have fun, be yourself and keep creating. You can’t wait to see what you come up with. Please share with me on Face world wherever you find me.
