Indianapolis – this Rival Training Camp Series Sunday’s Indianapolis stop brings a flashy group of linebackers and defensive backs from across the Midwest and beyond. Recruitment news also came from that group. Here’s the latest on a few of the top prospects.
It won’t be long before we see Williams-West make a big decision. The three-star safety told me he will commit “next month.” As it stands, the decision will be made between Minnesota, Louisville and Kentucky. He said all three programs showed him the “brotherhood” they have on their rosters and each had a chance to land his commitment.

Bledsoe’s height and height will definitely grab your attention. The defensive back out of Lipscomb College is now over the 10-offer mark, and that number should continue to rise. So far, Bledsoe said MSU and Miami are at the top of his recruiting program due to staff communication and fan support. West Virginia and Missouri are pushing for him to visit, and he hopes to learn more about those areas in the coming months. Bledsoe will take his time with the recruiting process and has no plans to make any major decisions for quite some time.

There are many projects in the area related to Thomas. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound outside backer has received more than 20 offers and is on the lookout for more. Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Kentucky and West Virginia have all shown and continue to show love. Thomas will visit Ohio State and Notre Dame in hopes of receiving offers from both schools. It will be interesting to see where all of these programs predict Thomas’ best college ranking. He said some coaches have expressed interest in outside linebackers, while others are interested in inside linebackers.

Harris stands out as the best linebacker in the tournament. Rivals250 prospects hold over 20 offers from some heavyweights. Throughout the spring, Harris held offers from Oklahoma State, Auburn State, Tennessee, Iowa State, USC, Georgia Tech, Oregon State and more. He will travel to Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State and Alabama for training camp games in the next few weeks.

It would be difficult for any plan to make Lovett give up his commitment to Illinois. The 6-foot-1 athlete took comfort in the Illini’s support and his recent decision to commit. But that hasn’t stopped the project from staying in touch. MSU, Purdue and Louisville have maintained communication with Lovett since he committed in March. He told them he was satisfied with his commitment.
