Indianapolis – this Rival Training Camp Series Sunday’s game in Indianapolis will see a slew of young men from the Midwest and beyond shine at the wide receiver and tight end positions. Recruitment news also came from that group. Here’s the latest on a few of the top prospects.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pound tight end is one of the best athletes today and looks every bit the part of a top-100 prospect. Sneed provided some insight into what is currently a very busy recruiting campaign. Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, Auburn State, Mississippi State, Miami State, Tennessee, Ohio State and Michigan State were all listed as standout programs at the time. He’s taking a very broad approach to things now to make sure he doesn’t burn any bridges or miss opportunities. Oklahoma State and Mississippi State are two programs he has yet to visit and said he hopes to visit in the near future.

The 6-foot-5, 180-pound Hoosier product is a prime candidate for recruiting to reach new heights this summer. As of now, Purdue and Louisville are scheduled to receive official visits. If you are making predictions now, one of these programs would be a wise choice. Along with them, Miami and Kentucky are both vying for official visits of their own. Those haven’t been scheduled yet, but he’s in contact with staff about the idea. Hill will also head to Notre Dame for a prospect camp, where he is expected to earn a job offer. The summer will be busy for Hill’s visits, but may also reflect his commitment. Hill said he hopes to make a decision after the visit in early July.

As a candidate for the 2026 Rivals250 class, Sabb is one of the most anticipated performers at the time. He didn’t disappoint. The New Jersey native is on a massive recruiting trail. Sabu mentioned Penn State, Alabama, Oregon State, Syracuse and Oklahoma State as popular programs from the spring. He hopes to visit nearly the entire team this summer and has added Ohio State and Maryland as two other potential sites.Alabama will have an interesting angle in recruiting him since his older brother, Keon Sabb, transferred to the program this offseason. Karen DeBoer took over the reigns.

Another 2026 prospect who has passed the eye test in practice after taking to the field, Mire could move up the rankings in the future. Florida State, University of Central Florida, Cincinnati, Oregon State and Illinois are the groups he has laid the groundwork for in his future recruiting. He said the schools that worked the hardest for him were Florida State, UCF and Cincinnati. The Ohio State prospect appears to be recruiting nationwide.

Trimble has been through big things the past few days. The three-star prospect out of Illinois went to Indianapolis and immediately won the wide receiver MVP award. After receiving the award, he took a photo with Illinois quarterback Carson Boyd. Less than 24 hours later, Trimble announced his commitment to the Illini. The new commitment did a lot to boost his stock and gives Illinois a fine weapon.

Toney is one of the top performers and continues to create impressive catches. The running route and hands are clearly visible. Toney has been committed to Miami since the summer of 2023, and despite still being a year and a half away from putting pen to paper, he’s not looking for a busy recruiting push. The only other trip he’s focused on besides the Canes is to Alabama, where he’ll travel later this month. Tide staff described him as “shocking” in recent conversations with the No. 40 pick on the 2026 staff. He’s content with his status in Miami, and it’s now going to be hard for anyone to break that bond.
