Indianapolis—— Top prospects from the Midwest and surrounding areas gather in central Decatur (Indiana), the state capital, to compete Rival Training Camp Series‘ makes an annual stop in Indianapolis.
The morning game featured several of the area’s best tight ends going head-to-head, followed by afternoon action among a talented group of quarterbacks and skill position players.

Quarterback MVP: Tavion St. Clair
Tavion St. Clair highlighted the quarterback group in attendance Sunday. The four-star recruit is 6-foot-4, 228 pounds and has great physical attributes, which gives him incredible arm strength. St. Clair frequently showed off his accuracy and ball placement throughout his performance, both in the pocket and on the move. The Ohio State commit set off a spiral of tension and came at the perfect time for his withdrawal and release. St. Clair said he will be included in the five-star discussion in the next rankings update.

Running back MVP: Jance Henry
The rising second-year running back is one of the youngest top prospects today and he’s having a great year. James Henry is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 192 pounds. He has a stocky frame with a thick lower body, strong jumping ability and a low center of gravity. He showed off impressive routes running out of the backfield and consistently flashed his hands. Henry received a total of 11 acceptance letters, including the University of Mississippi, the University of Wisconsin, Michigan State University, Pitt University, West Virginia University and other Final Four programs.

Wide receiver MVP: Brayden Trimble
Coming into training camp, Brayden Trimble was respected by others in the area, with offers from Auburn, Illinois, MSU, Iowa State and others, but when he was in some good spots He gets more out of a defensive back when he’s dominant. Trimble ran clear routes all day and displayed strong hands and excellent body control near the sideline and in the end zone. He made several noteworthy catches even in contested situations. Trimble is one stock that’s been doing well since Sunday.

Tight End MVP: Carson Snead
Mixed between running backs and receivers, or facing linebackers or defensive backs, one thing is clear: Carson Sneed was the tight end who had the best performance Sunday. At 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, the Tennessee native is a matchup nightmare for any defender who comes against him. While rocking the Florida State glove, Sneed displayed his advanced route running ability and ability to track and get up to the ball. He also showed the ability to contort his body and adjust to catch the ball. Sneed undoubtedly established himself as a top-100 recruit in the class and was recruited by more than 30 programs including Alabama, Florida State, Miami, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Tennessee and more.

Offensive Line MVP: Jake Cook
His performance was dominant from star to finish and there couldn’t have been a cleaner day than in the trenches for Jack Cook. He first showed off some impressive athleticism in position drills and sandbag drills, and it’s clear he’s one of the best offensive linemen on the field. Then, inside, Cook won spot after spot in one-on-one contests. The three-star prospect is committed to Louisville, and a performance like today’s could lead to other programs around the country coming calling. Cook added a fourth star to his name, which is a great example.

Defensive Line MVP: Ethan Utley
As the 189th-ranked rising star in Rivals250, expectations are high for Ethan Utley to perform at a high level. He was one of the best campers in individual workouts, and while he got off to a slow start in one-on-one drills, he rallied and racked up some big wins. One of the most impressive things about Utley’s day was that he was constantly testing different offensive linemen in rotation. Tennessee spent the entire day taking home the Defensive Line MVP award.

Defender: Keenan Harris
Kenan Harris is a tight end defensive player who had multiple interceptions throughout the day. The 6-foot-2, 209-pound four-star prospect showed off his athleticism and fluidity against some strong runners at running back and tight end. Harris displays excellent ball skills and awareness on the court and is a natural cover defender. The four-star recruit certainly showed there’s a lot of upside in his game, especially considering he’s in the class of 2026.

Defensive Back: Chasten Smith
Chaston Smith, another 2026 four-star prospect, just had a full day. Coming over from Knoxville, he excelled in positioning drills, showing off his ability to come off drives and make plays with explosiveness. He showed the same in one-on-one situations and always drew eyes to his field. Against some of today’s top receivers, Smith held his own and showed why he was a top-100 recruit in his class and why he received 30 offers, including Alabama, Florida State , Louisiana State University, Oregon State, Penn State University and other programs, Tennessee, Texas A&M University and others.
