Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a letter this week to American college students protesting against Israel and the United States on campus following the October 7 Hamas terror attacks, praising their protests as part of an international “resistance front” and encouraging They are “familiar with the Quran”. The Islamic regime in Tehran is a sponsor of terrorism and a major backer of Hamas.
Campus protests, held primarily at expensive, elite colleges and universities with large populations of foreign students, were a concerted effort by communist and Islamist groups to foment hatred of Israel and the Jews, as well as the American Revolution.
Many campus occupation camps hold daily Islamic prayer meetings and Marxist indoctrination chants.
Khamenei’s letter is a bold move by the Iranian government in the face of a weak, appeasing Joe Biden who is openly inciting revolution in the United States.
Earlier this spring, George Washington University in Washington, D.C., was occupied and the Washington statue was desecrated. Here’s the video:

Full text of Khamenei’s letter:
“In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Merciful
I write this letter to young people whose awakened consciences prompt them to defend the oppressed women and children of Gaza.
Dear American College Students, This message expresses our sympathy and solidarity with you. When the page of history turns, you stand on the right side of history.
You have now formed a branch of the Resistance Front and begun your glorious struggle in the face of relentless pressure from your government – a government that openly supports the usurping and brutal Zionist regime.
The greater Resistance Front shares the same understandings and feelings that you have today and has been fighting the same struggles far away from you for many years. The goal of this struggle is to end years of blatant oppression of the Palestinian nation by the brutal Zionist terror network. After the Zionist regime seized their country, it subjected them to the most severe pressure and torture.
Today’s genocide by the apartheid Zionist regime is a continuation of decades of extreme oppression. Palestine is an independent land with a long history. It is a country made up of Muslims, Christians and Jews.
After World War II, the capitalist Zionist network, with the help of the British government, gradually introduced thousands of terrorists into the land. These terrorists attacked cities and villages, killing tens of thousands of people and expelling large numbers to neighboring countries. They seized their homes, businesses and farmland, formed a government on the occupied Palestinian land, and called it Israel.
After Britain’s initial help, the United States became the usurper’s regime’s biggest supporter, providing it with constant political, economic and military support. The United States even opened the way for and provided assistance to the regime to produce nuclear weapons, which is an inexcusable act of recklessness.
From the very beginning, the Zionist regime has adopted an iron-fist policy against the defenseless Palestinian people and has increasingly escalated its brutality, terror and repression with complete disregard for all moral, human and religious values.
The U.S. government and its allies refuse to even express disapproval of this state terrorism and continued oppression. Today, some of the statements made by the US government regarding the terrorist crimes in Gaza are hypocritical and untrue.
The Resistance Front emerged from this dark environment of despair, expanded and consolidated by the establishment of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The global Zionist elite – who own most US and European media companies or influence them through funding and bribes – branded this brave, humane resistance movement “terrorism”.
Can a nation be called a terrorist state if it defends itself on its own land against the crimes of the occupying Zionists? Is it an act of terrorism to aid such a country and strengthen it?
The oppressive leaders of global hegemony ruthlessly distort even the most basic concepts of humanity. They portray the brutal terrorist Israeli regime as an act of self-defense, but they portray the Palestinian resistance movement defending freedom, security and self-determination as terrorists!
I want to assure you that things are changing today. This important region of West Asia is facing a different fate. The conscience of people around the world has awakened, and the truth is coming to light.
Moreover, the resistance front has grown and will become even stronger.
History is turning a new page.
In addition to your students at dozens of American universities, there are academic and public uprisings in other countries.
The support and solidarity of professors is a significant and important development. This can provide a level of comfort in the face of government police brutality and the pressure it exerts on you. I am one of those who sympathizes with you young people and values your perseverance.
The lesson of the Qur’an for us as Muslims and for all humanity is to stand up for what is right: “So be steadfast, as you were commanded” (11:112).
The Qur’an’s lesson on human relations is: “Do not oppress, and do not be oppressed” (2:279).
The Resistance Front advances by fully understanding and practicing these and hundreds of other such commands—and will prevail with God’s permission.
My advice to you is to familiarize yourself with the Quran.
Said Ali Khamenei
