Prominent Arab-American community leader and publisher Osama Siblani has announced that Muslims are poised to take control of key political offices across the United States, including Congress and the White House.
Earlier this month, Sibrani was speaking at a dinner honoring former Lebanese security chief Abbas Ibrahim, who is famous for his relationship with Hezbollah, known for its close ties, said: “We can offer the best to the United States of America – not just in Michigan but across the country – and we [have] Do your best…the best is yet to come. I can tell you with great confidence that we are on the road to policymaking in the White House, in Congress, and across America.
According to Memri TV, Siblani’s remarks referred to historical grudges from 40 years ago, when a local mayor allegedly spoke about the “Arab question” in Dearborn. He contrasted this situation with today’s reality, where, according to him, “Arabs are dominating Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, and Hamtramck.”
“So, brothers and sisters, we are on our way. I say this because yesterday when we welcomed our brothers and leaders, [fmr. Lebanese security chief] Abbas Ibrahim, at the airport, he saw and witnessed the power and connections that we have,” Sibrani said.
