MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski blamed Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance on his grueling schedule.
In Monday’s edition of the speech Good morning Joe, Brzezinski said she was angry at the “lack of discipline” within the White House and warned that removing him from the presidency could be “catastrophic” for the entire United States.
She explained:
I really question his schedule. He traveled across the world in four different time zones and it pissed me off. In my opinion, this is a sign of lack of discipline. These are important events for him to attend, but the stakes could not be higher in this election. Like many, I wondered, was this a one-time event or a sign of things to come?
Can his team and the president himself move forward with more discipline while dealing with the fact that he is 81 years old? Speaking of which, let’s talk about his age. Age means wisdom and experience. In the case of Joe Biden, it has led to the passage of more bipartisan legislation than any president in past generations.
Brzezinski went on to suggest that Biden consider making changes to his staff to avoid such poor performance in the future.
So after Thursday’s poor debate performance, President Biden finds himself at rock bottom again. This isn’t great. Biden skeptics are once again in unison. As you know, my family and I have known this man for decades, as well as his family. Yes, I know them personally. I still believe in Joe Biden. I learned that excluding him was always a mistake, and doing so now could have disastrous consequences for our country.
Do changes need to be made? Yes, manage him, manage his schedule, and even change the people around him. I would also say that America needs an explanation from Joe Biden and reassurances that that night was a one-time incident and not part of a larger problem.

Amid growing calls for him to withdraw from the race and make way for a younger candidate, Biden told a rally of supporters on Friday that he would not withdraw from the race under any circumstances.
“I don’t walk as easily as I used to, I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to, and I don’t debate as well as I used to,” Biden declared. “But I know what I know. I know how to tell the truth.
