As he approaches his 100th birthday, former President Jimmy Carter says his next goal is to live long enough to vote for Kamala Harris.

Former President Jimmy Carter was approaching his 100th birthday, but he wasn’t expecting a celebration of his milestone.

“I just want to vote for Kamala Harris,” Carter told his son Chip this week, according to Carter’s grandson Jason Carter.
The fact that former President Carter entered hospice last year and reportedly only had days to live is still going strong and engaged and interested in politics is mind-boggling.
No former U.S. president had a better post-presidential life than Jimmy Carter. Carter left office 43 years ago, leaving behind a legacy of accomplishments that no previous president could touch or come close to. Carter spent his post-presidential life dedicated to peace, helping others, and practicing the values of his faith.
