In an interview with comedian Tony Hinchcliffe during a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan said the Democratic legal campaign against Trump is “scary” because so many Democrats are okay with it.
He rightly points out that Democrats are setting a precedent they may soon regret.
He recalled how the left wanted Obama to go after Bush and Cheney for war crimes, noting that Obama, who killed an American citizen with a drone strike, could now face similar charges if anyone wanted to go after him. .

What’s scary is how many Democrats are willing to allow this to happen. Many of them realize this. There was a woman who went viral and she was talking about this and she said, “You have to understand, I’m not a Trump supporter. I don’t like Trump, but this is really dangerous for democracy. No one can prove this.” It’s not reasonable at all, and it doesn’t make any sense that this guy should go to jail for this.
Especially if you want to look at past presidents in the same light. There are many examples of things you can pursue. This is one of the things Obama said when he took office. They were talking about George Bush and Dick Cheney being accused of war crimes. “We’re not going to look back; we’re going to keep working hard,” he said. “We’re going to look to the future.” We will not sue anyone.
Imagine if, after taking office, Obama decided to prosecute Dick Cheney and George Bush for crimes against humanity. OMG. Do you know how crazy that would be? Do you know how divided the country will be at that time?
