Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., made the choice clear for voters trying to decide between Biden and Trump in 2024.

Fetterman said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”:
I do think the main problem is character, though. It’s like what do you want? Do I want that chaos and that depravity, or do I want to be like a decent president who has helped us get through this pandemic, has been dealing with inflation, and now has been dealing with the war in Ukraine and Gaza. If you really think Trump is going to make these situations better, I mean, that’s their choice, but I do believe that enough Pennsylvanians will decide that this is our guy, this is my guy .
Come 2022, people are going to say, well, I don’t know if you can run. Absolutely. I’m proud to be running with the president, and right now with all these polls, I’m not really worried about that. The polls were showing me losing by a point or two at most and us winning by five points, so I do believe this is a very close race.

Fetterman is right. The media has always reported based on opinion polls, and coverage of the election has been non-stop. There is an assumption that voters already know everything there is to know about Biden and Trump, so there is no need to discuss the differences in how the two men governed and conducted their presidencies.
Biden’s list of accomplishments is as long as your arm and matches or exceeds Trump’s list of scandals and controversies.
Voters have a choice between two very different people. Senator Fetterman is right that Pennsylvania voters once rejected Trump’s chaos, and a majority will likely do so again, even if the former president has a significant base of support in the state.
