Jon Stewart is celebrating Pride Month by exposing the false ethics of corporate America on The Daily Show.

Stewart said:
Why do we allow ourselves to be outraged over whether large multinational corporations support homosexuality or have traditional American values? Because a company has only one value: shareholder value. That’s all they have! That Budweiser horse that wants to restore our American spirit? It’s actually owned by a Belgian-Brazilian beverage group! The name of this “All-American” Clydesdale might be Jean-Luc Bolsonaro. Even companies you think are sincere, like Dove and its decades-long commitment to body positivity, are owned by Unilever, which is also the owner of Ax body spray and its decades-long commitment to body positivity. [bleep] Everything that moves!
Everything companies do is for their bottom line. Even when you go to the grocery store checkout line, the little card reader says, “Do you want to get together and help feed some kids?” Well, the first thing that comes to my mind is, “You’re the one who has all the food.” , [bleep], why don’t you round some of them up? Then they had the nerve to put out a press release talking about how much money they donated to stop world hunger. That’s my money! You tell those kids that’s my money!
Let’s stop pretending that a company can be woke or not, patriotic or unpatriotic.
Let’s let corporations live their truth like those profit-seeking Patrick Bateman psychopaths. At least, we might finally – we might finally get some honesty from them, too.

Jon Stewart is right. Corporations don’t care about ethics because corporations are not people. They have no conscience, no emotions, and no logic. The company has one goal, which is to make as much money as possible in everything it does.
The next time some conservatives get angry at a company, remember that the company will soon give in if it means keeping profits flowing.
We don’t need to know what corporations think about Pride Month or Black History Month, because corporations don’t think anything of it. Companies will say and do anything to protect their profits. Unless you are a shareholder, they will not be on your side.
