On Wednesday afternoon, Judge Juan Merchan dismissed the courtroom for Alvin Bragg’s hush-money legal trial against Trump.
Silent money allows jurors to choose one of three predicate crimes. Jurors did not have to agree on which of the three predicate crimes Trump committed.
1. Violation of federal election laws
2. Falsify business records; and
3. Tax violations
Of course, this would make it easier to convict Trump.
The jury had not reached a verdict after deliberating for several hours.
Deliberations will reconvene Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
