The New York Times reports:
Two years after an inverted American flag flew outside Samuel A. Alito Jr.’s Virginia home last summer, it was seen at his New Jersey vacation home, according to interviews and photos Another provocative sign.
This time it was the “Calling Heaven and Earth” flag, the same flag as the inverted American flag that rioters raised at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. During the Revolutionary War.
The New York Times has photos, witnesses and even a Google Street View photo showing the flag flying at Alito’s summer home. The excuse Justice Alito has been proposing involves a neighborhood dispute following the 2020 election, in which the justice sought to blame the upside-down flag on his wife.
The truth is emerging about Supreme Court justices publicly supporting Trump in overthrowing the U.S. government. There are no mitigating factors or excuses. Samuel Alito supports the destruction of American democracy. Justice Alito does not act like a neutral jurist but a radical right-wing political activist.
A Supreme Court majority is a threat to democracy, as Alito’s reform of the Supreme Court demonstrates, as urgent and important as it is.
