Kamala Harris’ campaign has flatly refused to participate in Fox News’ highly anticipated debate against former President Donald Trump. Instead, they insisted on limiting the debate to far-left media outlets, demonstrating a desperate attempt to control the narrative and shield Harris from tough questions.
Gateway Pundit previously reported that President Donald Trump has confirmed that he will participate in the debate against Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4. The debate will be broadcast live on Fox News.
Trump once again took to social media to clarify his position and announce the upcoming debate. He wrote:
“I have given my consent to Fox News to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. This debate was originally scheduled to be on ABC against Sleepy Joe Biden, but was terminated due to Biden no longer being a participant and I am A conflict of interest arises by filing a lawsuit against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos.
The Fox News debate will be held in Pennsylvania at a location to be determined. The moderators of the debate will be Bret Baier and Martha McCallum, and the rules will be similar to the rules of my debate with Sleepy Joe, who was treated horribly by his party – but with a full audience!
Rather than seize this opportunity for public dialogue, however, Harris’ campaign has taken a defensive stance. Her campaign communications director, Michael Tyler, accused Trump of being “scared” and trying to withdraw from the debate he had originally agreed to hold on Sept. 10. He said:
“Donald Trump is scared, trying to withdraw from a debate he has agreed to, and running directly to Fox News to bail him out. He needs to stop playing games and attend the debate he has promised to hold on September 10th.
“The Vice President will use this opportunity in some way to address a national audience in prime time. We are happy to discuss further debates once both campaigns agree. Any time, any place, any gentleman should have no problem, Unless he’s too scared to turn up on No. 10.
A campaign official also told me, “It’s our understanding that ABC intends to provide air time to any qualified candidate, even if it’s just her.”

The hypocrisy is clear: Harris evades responsibility by accusing Trump of being afraid while refusing to confront him in an environment where she can truly be exposed to different viewpoints.
Trump has explained that he “creates a conflict of interest by pursuing a lawsuit against the ABC network and George Slopapoulos.”
It’s clear that Democrats have chosen a far-left media platform where they can control the narrative and avoid challenging questions about Kamala’s record and policies.
