The Harris campaign warned the United States that Trump’s avoidance of the “2025 Plan” does not change the fact that the agenda is the same.
Harris for President Campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said in a statement in response to the news that the head of Project 2025 is resigning:
Plan 2025 is on the ballot because Donald Trump is on the ballot. This is his agenda, crafted by his allies for Donald Trump to impose on our country.
Hiding the 920-page blueprint from the American people does not make it any less genuine — in fact, it should make voters more concerned about what else Trump and his allies are hiding.
What is clear is that the Trump, Vance, and Plan 2025 agenda will take America backwards: more abortion bans, more suffering, higher costs for the middle class, Social Security and Medicare cuts, repeal of the Affordable Care Act, air pollution and water, and empowering Trump to destroy American democracy.
Vice President Kamala Harris is fighting for a future where everyone has a chance not only to survive, but to advance. Americans no longer have Republicans intruding into our bedrooms, family rooms and doctor’s offices.
Vice President Harris has made a career out of exposing liars and frauds like Donald Trump, and stopping dangerous plots like Project 2025 that make people’s lives worse. This election will be no different.
Donald Trump thinks the American people are stupid and if he cancels the public-facing part of his 2025 plan, his political problems will disappear.
The problem is that the policy work for Plan 2025 has been completed. The item is Trump’s agenda and transition document. Donald Trump is not interested in staffing or policy advice. He probably hasn’t read a page of Project 2025.
What makes this document so dangerous is the former president’s willingness to execute it, no questions asked.
Don’t be fooled. There has been no progress on the 2025 plan. Trump tried to solve political problems, but nothing changed about the Republican extremist agenda.
