With just over 100 days left in the campaign, the Harris campaign for president has released its first official campaign video, titled “We Choose Freedom,” fitting the energy of the moment perfectly.
The video features Beyoncé’s song “Freedom” and highlights the stakes of the upcoming election, which they define as “American rights and freedoms.”
Watch it here:
The narrator lays out the stakes for November, asking what kind of country we want to live in:
Vice President Kamala Harris: There’s a problem for each of us in this election.
What kind of country do we want to live in?
Some people think we should be a chaotic country. fear. Out of hatred.
but we. We choose different things.
We choose freedom.
Freedom is not just about getting through trouble, but about making progress. Freedom from gun violence. The freedom to make decisions about your own body.
We choose a future where no children live in poverty. Health care is affordable for all of us and no one is above the law.
We believe in America’s promise and are prepared to fight for it.
Because when we fight, we win. So join us.
By defining freedom as applying not to guns, but to our bodies, our autonomy, our right to marry, and our freedom from gun violence, the Harris campaign is reviving the long-standing narrative that has made gun manufacturers absolutely profitable. Profit right comes first with appeal. Harris’ position is truly pro-life. This is pro-life for everyone. It is characterized by her smile, the laughter of people, the face of happiness, the face of love and unity. This is the direction we can choose to go while closing the door once and for all on Donald Trump’s toxic and violent impact on our political landscape, dividing families, friends, and communities.
Finally, there is a link to the event website. The Vice President is right, when they peacefully fight for their rights and their country at the ballot box, they do win.
Caring Americans come together and winning requires all coalitions within the Democratic big tent, independents who vote Democratic and Republicans who never supported Trump to set aside their specific wishes and demands for the greater good.
It demands that everyone stop being like Trump and stop putting self before community. Voters increasingly gravitate toward the charisma and character of President Barack Obama, expecting and demanding this unique combination of traits—except Policies are accurately matched. These mythical unicorns do not exist. There are no perfect candidates or votes.
But Kamala Harris not only prioritizes positive freedoms for all, she’s also ready to take on Donald Trump and his criminal enterprise so that ordinary Americans don’t have to live in fear and intimidation anymore to vote. In the box. As a candidate, Kamala Harris’ background as a prosecutor and her career-long mission to hold banks and other predators accountable fit this moment.
The campaign correctly noted in an email to PoliticusUSA that “in just a few days, Vice President Harris has united the Democratic Party and won strong support from key coalitions, including labor groups, Black voters, Latino voters, AANHPI voters , female voters and young voters.
Kamala Harris’s enthusiasm and energy have made history even as voters support her grieve that President Joe Biden has been pushed aside by powerful special interests. But as the president made clear last night, the fate of this country is too important to be centered on one person. President Joe Biden’s selfless actions are at odds with Donald Trump’s self-serving agenda, and Biden’s legacy is not only one of historic legislative accomplishments and decency, but one of rare and authentic patriotism unparalleled in modern history.
Kamala Harris fills the dire void left by President Joe Biden’s ouster and is quickly gaining support from across coalitions, including getting her first endorsement from the March for Our Lives and Thursday morning from labor leaders and civil rights Supported by activist Dolores Huerta.
The first video of the campaign will be available on all social media platforms.
