Donald Trump sees Minnesota as a potential winner in the presidential election, but Kamala Harris currently leads the state 50%-40%.

Amid a wave of mostly positive coverage, Vice President Kamala Harris has a clear lead in Minnesota, 50% to 40%, as the new Democratic presidential nominee, according to our latest KSTP/SurveyUSA poll Former Republican President Donald Trump.
Another four percent prefer another candidate, and five percent are undecided. That 10-point lead is 4 points higher than the last time we looked at the Trump-Biden matchup in late June, before Biden’s disastrous debate performance, when Biden led Trump 47% to 41%. 6 percentage points.

She leads Trump by 27 points among female voters, 58% to 31%, and is 7 points ahead of Biden last month. Trump leads among male voters by seven points, 49% to 42%, roughly the same margin he held over Biden last month. Harris leads among independent voters, 40% to 30%, 5 points ahead of Biden.
In one week, Trump went from trying to expand the electoral map and talking about an Electoral College landslide to seeing Minnesota potentially being left out and hoping Harris wouldn’t do the same in Pennsylvania and choose Gov. Josh Shapi Josh Shapiro serves as her representative.
If Pennsylvania and Minnesota are closed to Trump, his path to victory will require winning three states: Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia and Arizona.
Trump just held a rally in Minnesota on Saturday night. The former president is trying to find other avenues to the presidency. The Trump campaign thought Minnesota could be an option for them, but Harris’ elevation could close that door.
