Kamala Harris reminds America that Trump is a sex abuser in first campaign speech

Speaking at campaign headquarters, Kamala Harris said that as a prosecutor she prosecuted sexual abuse cases for which Donald Trump was found responsible.

Harris said:

So hear me out when I say I know the Donald Trump type. I’m going to be proud, I’m going to be proud to compare my record to his record in this campaign. As a young prosecutor, when I worked for the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office in California, I specialized in cases involving sexual abuse. A jury has found Donald Trump liable for sexual abuse. As California Attorney General, I took over one of the largest for-profit colleges in our country and shut it down. Trump University, a for-profit college run by Donald Trump, was forced to pay $25 million to students he defrauded. As a district attorney who went after polluters, I created one of the first environmental justice departments in our country. Donald Trump stood at Mar-a-Lago and told big oil lobbyists that he would give them $1 billion in campaign donations at their request.

It means even more when Kamala Harris steps in front of the camera to remind the world that Donald Trump has been found responsible for sexual abuse. This is not a dig, or a mention to score political points, but a fact about what kind of person Republicans believe is appropriate to sit in the Oval Office and represent the people of the United States of America.

Vice President Harris’ job over the next 106 days will be not only to defend herself, but to prove why someone like Donald Trump should never return to the presidency.

The vice president has grown by leaps and bounds, and most voters don’t know about Kamala Harris in 2024, but this is a candidate who looks like the president.
