The Biden team hoped the president’s words would resonate with voters at home, showcasing him as a Reagan-esque figure who could unite the country and the rest of the world behind his vision, but the speech they wrote for him only showed how chaotic he is , unserious and unrealistic. This is absolutely ridiculous. European countries themselves were so indifferent to the Russian threat that, to this day, many have failed to achieve their goals. Remember, back in 2014 it was decided to spend 2% of GDP on defence. Now, in this case, Biden’s speech came across as irresponsible fear-mongering. This could actually lead us to a nuclear war with the former Soviet Union, especially now that Biden has authorized Ukraine to use U.S. weapons to fire on Russia.
