Horror novelist Stephen King is a famous sufferer of Trump Derangement Syndrome. He is also addicted to social media and spends too much time on Twitter/X.
King recently used his account to spread lies about Trump, suggesting he didn’t want to be photographed with amputee veterans.
People on the platform countered King’s lies with evidence.
Breitbart News reported:
Fact check: Author Stephen King spread lie, claimed Trump didn’t want photos with amputee veterans
Best-selling novelist, Hollywood producer and Kamala Harris supporter Stephen King spread an easily disproven lie claiming that then-President Donald Trump did not want to be photographed with amputee veterans. In fact, Trump took numerous photos with amputee veterans during his time as commander in chief, including one with a quadruple amputee Marine veteran in the Oval Office.
Stephen King has not taken down his X post, in which he made ridiculous comments, since Thursday. Despite being fake, the post has been viewed millions of times and retweeted thousands of times. Community comments also did not correct King’s post.
This is King’s tweet:
Trump doesn’t want to take photos with amputee veterans. “That doesn’t look good to me,” he said.
